The Pilates System

Pilates is more than just a single type of class — it’s a complete movement system designed to build strength, mobility, control and body awareness.

While each discipline offers something different, Reformer, Tower, Mat and Wunda Chair Pilates all work together, complementing one another to create a well-rounded practice. Each class challenges your body in a different way, helping you develop strength, improve movement and deepen your understanding of Pilates.

We encourage you to explore the different disciplines rather than sticking to just one. Mixing your classes allows you to experience the Pilates system as a whole, keeping your body challenged, your practice varied and your progress moving forward.

“I had never done Pilates before and am delighted to see excellent progress!”

“I have been doing 2 sessions a week for just over a year and love Lucy, Kat and LA Pilates. The classes are fun, friendly and challenging. The instructors are excellent and correcting my posture so I get the most out of the exercises and have the correct form.”
