Flow Pilates

This class is not for the faint hearted. Here we focus on full body strength, stability and alignment, along with creating flow between the exercises. This class is set to challenge you and push your boundaries. It is suitable for those who have been practicing Pilates for a while and are fit and healthy. If you don’t know what a ‘Roll Over’ is or you do and it is not there for you yet, I would say you’re not quite ready for this class just yet.

Flow Pilates is held at Penryn, Ponsanooth, Portreath and Carnon Downs.

Gentle Pilates

This class focuses in on core strength, stability and alignment. My aim is getting the body working in a more efficient way so you can get on with the things that matter to you in your life. These classes are great for anyone and everyone, whether you’re going through rehabilitation, brand new to Pilates or a seasoned Pilates goer wanting to just improve your technique, this class has you covered.

Gentle Pilates is held at Penryn, Flushing, Ponsanooth, Portreath and Carnon Downs.

Chair Pilates

Chair Pilates is a low impact session using different props whilst staying seated. It is a great way to keep your body moving, to strengthen muscles whilst increasing flexibility and mind, body awareness. This is a fantastic class if you are recovering from injury or just trying to keep your body moving in a friendly environment.

Pilates is a proven way to help prevent injury so why wait when you can do something now.

Chair Pilates is held at Portreath only.

Personal Training

Personal Training 1:1 sessions, are a great way to focus on your own needs. Whether you’re recovering from injury, wanting to get back into shape after having children or training for a marathon these sessions target on your personal goals.

At The Studio in Penryn, we have a fully equipped apparatus studio offering you the best experience Pilates can offer you. We have a Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Wonda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Arcs, Weights, Wobble Boards, Rotation Discs and more. Come along and start your Pilates journey today.

Personal Traning is held at The Studio in Penryn only.

I love these pilates classes! Each week is different, I find some do the same moves every week. Lucy also uses some new equipment which I haven't used before. Everyone is pushed to their ability and she makes you giggle along the way too. Friendly & welcoming what more can I say?

Lucy is an inspiring teacher. She's informative and knowledgeable yet makes her classes fun and also pushed you to a higher limit all the time. Having had a knee replacement op, 20 months ago, I have continually surprised myself! My posture has improved and I feel great.

Lucy is an amazing teacher for both 1:1 and Mat Classes. I see her twice a week and love how enthusiastic and knowledgeable she is and how much she has helped me feel stronger and more flexible. Lucy has made this by far my favourite exercise and I always look forward to seeing her. Would highly recommend all of her classes.

I've so far done just one term Lucy's Pilates classes and I'm already feeling significant benefits. I feel stronger, I have fewer aches and I move much better and easier than I did before I started with Lucy. Her classes are full of her energy and enthusiasm and she seems to take different parts of your body on a little journey each week (I'm not even sure I even know I had these parts of my body before!). There are people of many different ability levels at the classes but Lucy manages to focus on everybody so nobody is left out. I love Lucy's Pilates classes - definitely the best new thing I've done this year!

I only came to find Lucy earlier this year and she's great!! Enthusiastic and I really feel she knows her stuff as she adapts the movements according to your ability and capacity. I was nervous initially as I am older and I have back and knee problems and overweight too. Lucy has been inspiring and don't be nervous she's wonderful. Thank you Lucy x
