    “I won‘t have a clue what I am doing…” ”Everyone will laugh at me!” Fear is one of the biggest barriers when it comes to starting exercise. I hear you. I feel you. I want to help you. Believe it or not when I first started going to the gym 20years ago I felt the same (20years…😳🤣). I don’t know why but society has conditioned us to feel we have to be good / picture perfect to do something. Well how the hec do you progress and achieve if you don‘t start out bad and at the start? I was bad. I had no clue. I got things wrong. Yes, of course I did. That’s how we grow, thats how we learn to do things better. My whole journey within the Pilates industry has been a steady climb to understand not only how my body works but how to get the best out of the people I see in front of me. Hey and guess what?… I am still learning! Classes at LA Pilates are not only designed to help you achieve your goals but to help you gain confidence moving. Classes are small so you get that 1:1 feeling whilst not spending a mini fortune on private classes. I take it as my personal duty to make everyone feel comfortable. I encourage questions, I encourage laughter and most importantly I encourage FUN. Why not make your workout fun? Time goes quicker and you get that little extra feel good kick which is priceless. Can’t wait to see you and beat those gremlins you might have about starting something new.

    Welcome to My Blog, basically my thoughts on all things Pilates! Pilates, classes and more. A big welcome and a massive thank you for getting this far on my website or social platforms. I'm super excited you're here as that means you're like me and kinda have a thing for Pilates. Even if you don't know it yet, you're intrigued and that counts. I'd like to consider myself 'normal' whatever that might be. I'm just a girl (woman, although that sounds far too grown up) who enjoys exercise and in particular Pilates. I chose Pilates as it helped me get my life back (read my 'Behind the LA Blog) after a herniated disc. My goals To get people like you moving. To make people like you love their bodies. To get people like you enjoying exercising and doing it because they want to, not because they think they have to. Get exploring I'm not going to bore you, well for now anyway, so have a little explore and see what type of classes we have on offer and what takes your fancy. We have a range of classes designed to meet your needs on a monthly basis. No term times, just classes to fit around you, for you. I hope you enjoy what we / I have to offer.
